About Us
Advanced Health Physical Therapy, a division of Light of Life Ministries (formerly Bouchard Physical Therapy), opened its doors for business in 1989 in Waterville, Maine, under the ownership of Ray Bouchard, B.S., M. Div., Finance Director and Susanne M. Bouchard, PT, LMT as CEO and Director.

In 1993 the clinic moved into the small radio station building at 160 Riverside Drive in Augusta and in 2003 the clinic moved into its new facility at the same location in Augusta, Maine. In 2003 Bouchard Physical Therapy was donated to Light of Life Ministries, a (501)(c)(3) non-profit corporation.

Our Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants are licensed in the State of Maine, are Medicare Certified and we are credentialed with most major insurance companies. With the passage of Direct Access in 1991 you as a prospective patient/client can be seen by our Physical Therapists directly (self refer) on a cash basis.

Frequently our Physical Therapy programs are being updated and our professional staff (PTs, PTAs) attends major Continuing Education Seminars and other skilled training seminars to keep up with the latest developments in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Wellness.

With over 30 years in providing Quality Physical Therapy we have established ourselves in this community and the Kennebec Valley having served thousands of satisfied patients.

Our continued research proves a high success rate: 92 % of our patients get well, learn and stay well. We offer to our graduating patients one month free use of our Wellness Center to easily facilitate you into the Wellness and Fitness Community.

We believe that Physical Therapy should be easily accessible. That is why we offer convenient patient parking, short wait times, one on one treatment rooms, early morning, lunch time and afternoon appointments.
